INFRA DEADLINE
The INFRA program provides dedicated, discretionary funding for projects that address critical issues facing our nation’s highways and bridges. INFRA grants will support the Administration’s commitment to fixing our nation’s crumbling infrastructure by creating opportunities for all levels of government and the private sector to fund infrastructure, using innovative approaches to improve the necessary processes for building significant projects, and increasing accountability for the projects that are built. Applicants may resubmit their previous FASTLANE application, but must explain how the project competitively addresses the improved INFRA Grant criteria. Deadline is 8:00PM EST, November 2, 2017. Major evaluation and consideration areas are: national and regional economic vitality, potential for innovation, safety, environmental review and permitting, project delivery approach, leveraging of federal funding, performance and accountability, geographic diversity among recipients and project readiness.
